I really think we need to get a match server soon! What do you think? You think just a 16slot 100tick match server will be enough, or do you think we also require a public server? Also if you are willing to put money towards the server, please reply here and say how much you are willing to pay and if you have Paypal.

i think a 12 slot server would do ill b able to start contributing once ive found new job no need for public atm lets wait untill we are settled as a clan

You sure 12 will be enough? As source TV also uses a slot, so we would be unable to record a 6v6 match...thought I guess we would probably never have a need to do so.

We might just have to have our 6v6 matches held away. I think we can get away with being frugal with the slots.

I'll agree on that, no point in having a public server when the clan hasn't fully settled. Private Clan match server should do for a while to begin with...
Only when you fully settle as a clan it would be more nesserary to get a public server.

Okay so yes, I will order a server soon, but we only have two people who are saying they will pay, and both do not have the money at the moment - black-ops is excempt from paying as he pays for the voice server by himself.

I bought one as we need one last night for some games.

The IP and pass are in the MOTD on the ventrilo server.

Myself, Pete, Vaatrad and Shadow are currently setup as admins. To access the admin menu type !ed into console whilst on the server.

Also, due to an error by the server company, we now have a second server, exactly the same as the first. Hopefully they won't notice I'll set it up same as the first so we can have it as a spare or if we need two at once.

Could I be given admin on the forums so I can post a stick for it?

I can change your user group from 'Admin' to 'Banned' if I need to...

Also BlackOps do not touch any of the forum main settings without asking me first and do not run any of the update or security tools, only manage forums and posts for now please, otherwise could have some problems...

Servers costs in total £14 per month

And at the moment I'm paying £9 of it and Ieuan is paying £5. So it'd be great if anybody who can, helps out with the fees.

Yeah that should be no problem, just let me get christmas out of the way then let me sort ouit a few things and closer the time i can let you know yeah :-)

that way it wont be all on 1 or 2 people and it dont hurt helping if you can :-)
